Well, Ukraine has to decide, do they want to fight a stalemate for another two years and lose another 300000 young men while probably not gaining ground and risking WWIII. Or, do they make peace, build an economic relationship with America and import a little more liberty/security? They have fought valiantly but there really isn't a winner in war, we are just killing our own species. G-d becomes quite angry at his children being blown up.

As U.S. and 🇷🇺 🇸🇦 putin negotiate, intel shows he's not interested 'in a real peace deal,' sources say

Putin isn’t going to allow Ukraine ties to Western Europe and/or the USA. He is convinced he can rook Trump into a deal favorable to Russia. Trump will negotiate, probably starting with an armistice in place while the negotiations progress. Putin will refuse of course, since such a freeze benefits Ukraine and kills what little momentum the Russian offensive has. Then Trump can publicly state that Putin has refused a reasonable basis for negotiation in favor of continuing his war of aggression. Ukraine wins even more public support world-wide while Russia loses the same. Trump comes off looking like a canny statesman while Putin looks like the KGB thug who only understands force and coercion that he is.

They don't have a choice. Trump won't push for NATO but he will it seems build bridges with Ukraine AND Russia. He isn't going to let China isolate and profit anynore. It is definitely a delicate dance

Putin has said he will not permit Ukraine to have ties to the west.

Depends what you mean by ties? NATO in Ukraine or any such foreign troops is off the agenda, economic ties could be a different matter, just saw your post Zavulon you beat me to it with the same point.

Trump won't push for NATO but 2) he will it seems build bridges with Ukraine AND 1) Russia.
1) its a myth , Republicans hate Moscow empire, his plan to use oil prices /sanctions instead the bullets and rockets

"I suggest that President Trump might want to study how Ronald Reagan defeated the Bolshevik empire.

"He did it without firing a shot, as we know, but he had a super weapon -- oil.

-
Reagan’s son, Michael Reagan

Trump made a sweet deal with KSA already, oil- prices will be around 35$ (less than 30 for Urals)

thats why Moscow propaganda is full of crap today

Not according to Putin. Ukraine has to become a satellite country like Byelorussia.

Serbia has withdrawn its vote in favor of the anti-Russian resolution at the United Nations (UN) on Ukraine. Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Djuric said this in an interview with NIN on March 12.

“Serbia's mission to the UN has changed its vote at the UN General Assembly on the Ukrainian resolution,” Djuric said.

Serbian President Aleksandra Vucic said on February 25 that the country's representatives voted in favor of the document by mistake and apologized to citizens, admitting his guilt in the incident.

“I think Serbia made a mistake today. <...> Serbia should have abstained. I have no one to blame but myself, as I did not pay enough attention to this issue,” Vucic said.

Earlier, on February 25, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Moscow was impressed by the prompt reaction of the Serbian president, who apologized for Belgrade's support for the anti-Russian UN resolution.

The UN General Assembly adopted an anti-Russian resolution on Ukraine on February 24. The draft was supported by 93 countries, 18 states voted against the adoption, and 65 countries abstained from voting.
