The Finnish military had a reservist army that had to go to war wearing mostly civilian clothes, because it could not give uniforms and boots to its soldiers. It is beyond absurd to claim that Finland would have wanted to start a war against Moscow commie - Empire , an empire of 190 million people, enormous resources and army of several millions of soldiers. Finland was attacked because it resisted a "voluntary" Moscow military occupation. Around the same time, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania allowed Soviet military bases in their territory to prevent being destroyed, and later they were forced to ""voluntarily"" join the Moscow commie - Empire
