You could become an austrian citizen though. You need to have austrian ancestors to be truly ethnically austrian, I dont know if that is comparable to America, because America is founded as a young nation of immigrants though, Austria is much older and a Old World Nation. I didnt said "I just show up and cross the border illegaly", I would go through the legal immigration procedures and I think after 4 years of residence in the US I could become an American citizen. Everyone can if he meets the legal requirements.

You're much safer and better off where you are. There are too many idiots in this country and not enough good stuff to go around.
