Morning in Tel Aviv: Cow-head and "blood" in TA fountain

Disturbing sight waited for the visitors of Tel Aviv this earliy morning. Activists for animal rights put a cow head, painted Iven Gevirol fountain in blood-like paint, in order to protest the "Holocaust made against animals worldwide". the activists taking part in the "Free296" campaign, repeated the act into other sites in Tel Aviv.

The unusual campaign is named after a specific calf which grew in Israel. In a step of solidary, some of the activists tattoed the number 296 on their arms, and in previous event the number was implemented on the arm of 3 activists using burned metal.

Yeah. Some TA residents are pissed (and very much so) that small children had to see that on their way to school.

There's a way of doing things, and they sure did cross a line
