American politics has always been messy. If you look at the history of the U.S. Congress, there are incidents of slug-outs and even brandishing firearms. The amazing thing is, we are still here and pretty vibrant.

If Socialists ruled, we'd have already gone through several civil wars, not just one. Short of outright murder, we are allowed to vehemently disagree.
