Being a glass half-full type of guy, I think this is great for the other "minorities" that made it. Now everyone knows they deserve to be there on their own merit.

BTW....Their numbers don't add up. The percentages for '23 add up to 112% and '24 add up to 101%.

Admissions should be done by merit. No AA for students.

This is great news indeed.

If the AA and DEI mindset can be wiped out, then the next George Washington Carver, the next black astronaut, the next Niel DeGrasse Tyson will not have their accomplishments tainted by suspicious that they made it to the top through something other than merit.

Unfortunately, racialism will be in politics for a long time to come, so Clarence Thomas will be hated for decades more as the only Black USSC justice to have been selected purely on merit.
