KARE 11 reports that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has confirmed the first case of the Cyclospora parasite in our state, and it’s warning people to thoroughly wash their hands, their utensils and the fruits and vegetables they eat. The FDA recommends using hot, soapy water for 20 seconds before and after you handle food, the station reports.
