Have you ever had a tune in your head that drives you crazy? Ever since Benghazi, Libya has been in the news I cant shake the score for the 1943 movie SAHARA. That Bogart war movie was set in the Libyan desert.
I must have been 10 years old when I saw Sahara. Unlike my childhood friends I always enjoyed the background music. Forever after hearing Miklos Rozsas score for Sahara I could always spot his theme in every film he did, and he did many of the big budget blockbusters.
