I'd best sum up class in America, as playing keep away.
Remember in school they'd throw objects over the middle guys head back & forth, to keep it away?
Well, just imagine those objects were "Cash" and the middle guy was the middle class, having cash thrown back & forth over his head by the rich & the poor, who play keep away the middle class from their cash.
