Michigan inn owners take down Norwegian flag after it’s mistaken for Confederate flag

Technically, the U.S. flag should have been flown above it.

No, technically we are free to fly whatever flag we wish here in the U.S.A.
"Should" is flag etiquette, not to be enforced as law. Actually they did it right according to the photo, with the U.S. flag to the right. If people are going to be rude about how it was flown, then they have the defense of following proper etiquette.

But actually the whole establishment looks a little bit too neat and proper. The Finns are naked in the sauna, and there's a Norwegian dance hall next door, with an old spinster keeping the establishment house.

Oslo was once named Christiania, before the Jews began to outnumber the Christians, and became offended at the Greek name for the Messiah or the Anointed One. There's quite a district going on there with the commercial trading of coal and wool, from which Christians were shut out and forbidden from owning businesses or accepting or collecting usury as Jews were allowed to do. And don't forget Norway's "neutrality" in the Second World War, and Quisling's betrayal of the country to the Nazis, comprising mainly the Christian labor unions permitted to work for Jewish business owners: nowadays CDU/CSU in Germany.
