The demand from over emotional Leftists for "common sense gun laws that work in the rest of the world" is misguided and wrong. The obvious example is our neighbor to the South. Mexico has extremely punitive gun laws and they have a staggering number of murders per year. Why? Because murderous criminals don't give a shit about gun laws, so the law abiding populace is unarmed and being shot left and right by the criminals.
