Mexico has already offered asylum to the "refugees" from Central America, so why should the U.S. even process claims of persecution in their home countries? It is clear that their primary motivation is economic, not personal safety. Why should they be allowed to circumvent our regular immigration process?

Well duh, they can’t vote for a democrat in the US if they are living in Mexico through asylum. Nobody with even a wisp of a functioning brain thinks those people are truly asylum seekers.
