Okay, I had just a bit of curiosity about this movie, but not enough to ever see it.

Well the wife rented it, so last night I strapped myself to my chair so I might make it through this 2 hr 40 min marathon.

I had all the best intentions, but only lasted about 1hr 20 mins before I broke my self imposed shackles and went to bed.

Slow, boring and very predictable. Big thumbs down for me.

I read the book - makes the movie hard to watch

My sister loved the book, but the movie stunk. What's even worse is how much they pissed of the Japanese by hiring Chinese actors.
