I see that CNN has a new poll out showing Melania has the lowest rating ever for a first lady. So, it begs me to ask, if people are being honest, what exactly has she done or not done to deserve such bad polling? You would have to admit that the only real reason her approval is so low is because she's married to the orange man and that it has nothing at all to do with what she has done or not done. In other words, the poll is unfair because they are polling about her popularity but not judging her based on her popularity.

Why is anyone polling the First Lady? What the hell does she have to do with policies?

Why not poll for the intern of the House Leader?

This is how civilizations fail. Fluff and deception instead of facts. America wins or China wins, that is the binary choice.

Instead of polling Wall Street and the public and compare results "what do you think of Chinese companies being listed on our indexes even though they are not transparent nor adhere to GAAP principles?" Instead they make some fake poll about the First Lady.

It is all just entertainment for the average sloth to be honest. It is meaningless really. If someone asked me such a question I would ask them what they thought of the Easter Bunny. How can anyone possibly give a correct answer one way or the other?

She's a first lady. What have any of them done? You probably couldn't state what Jill Biden did without looking it up first. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Jill Biden did things for education. Well, our education has been failing. Then we can go back to Michelle Obama. What did she do? I'm going to say that she worked on better nutrition in schools. It was a miserable failure. Then there was Laura Bush. What did she do without looking it up? I don't even know. Then there was Hillary Clinton. She was put in charge of health care. How'd that work out? Total loss. What did Barbara Bush do and, again, don't look it up? Then we go back to Nancy Reagan's war on drugs. What did that accomplish? What about Jackie Kennedy? What did she do? Nothing but look pretty and act like royalty.

Melania is getting ravaged only because of her last name, nothing to do with her.

I was always under the impression that Melania was highly intelligent, like perhaps genius level, speaks five, six languages. But her actions through the years have called all that into question.

Yet she has never demonstrated anything more than a casual knowledge of common phrases, something an international model would pick up but hardly fluent. English takes it to five and then there is the claim of Serbian, which is not outside the realm of possibility considering how close it is to Slovenian.

No, she seems amazingly disconnected. That whole "I really don't care, do you?" jacket a case in point. And while I never saw her as opportunistic, it seems the Donald has rubbed off on her. The whole crypto thing, the what do they call them, INF's or something, the book, the movie. I don't know of any first lady that has been so willing to profit from their position. Truth be known, and even in Melania's case, most women don't want that damn job.

It is very common for Europeans to learn 2 or more languages, especially as every few hundred miles they drive in any direction, they enter a new language spoken there. Then there is English, the universal language.
