Megalodon still around? Whatcha think?

Watching shark show...and the attack on that boat in South Africa..they never did figure out what did it. And snopes has the usual brouhaha that they didn't prove it....however....just because it was not proven doesn't mean we know ALL there is to know about our deepest oceans and critters supposedly extinct...aren't, because some have been showing up all over the world. So why couldn't a meglodon still be around, but just not found yet?
