Boris and Sofia Gurman were killed in the Bondi Beach attack.

A heroic couple that confronted terrorist Sajid Akram in the early moments of the Bondi Beach massacre have been named as the latest two victims of the attack.

Boris and Sofia Gurman were two Russian-speaking Jewish immigrants who first confronted the shooter, slowing his advance and seizing one of his weapons.

In footage widely shared on social media on Tuesday morning, the couple can be seen wrestling him to the ground in the very first minutes of the attack.

In the background, a car draped with the Islamic State flag over the front can be seen.

The pair, who were approaching their 35th wedding anniversary, were reported missing shortly after Sunday’s horrific events.

“Boris and Sofia were longtime Bondi locals who loved their community and the life they had built there,” a statement from the Gurman family said.

“While nothing can lessen the pain of this loss, we feel immense pride in their courage and humanity,” the statement said.

A GoFundMe has since been set up with the funds going to the couple’s son.

After 43-year-old fruit seller Ahmed al Ahmed confronted the suspect and disarmed him, footage captured Mr Morrison bravely throwing objects at the gunman in an effort to stop the attack.

In a Left-wing country like Australia where guns are all but completely banned entirely, and as a result most do not carry, this is the type of courage we must all have once the Left does the same to America.

He took the gun, but he just couldnt convince himself to shoot a fellow arab, so instead he let the terrorist go kill more people. He could have stopped him, but he didnt. Im not a fan of this outcome at all.
