The first thing I saw when I turned on CNN this morning was a very dour group discussing how the 2014 mid-terms were going to serious hurt the GOP in 2016! And, wherever the actual results were so far off predictions, they moaned that the “Democrat base” had not turned out. But wait! They brightened up when discussing how the GOP leaders didn't have a plan and that would certainly help Hillary.
Bias anyone?
From Daily Kos comes Republicans retake Senate, rout Democrats at every level

And here's another thing I have seen in the reporting – a lack of discussions about the state legislature results. We see all about the governors but it's the legislatures that draw and redraw the voting districts. These changes will definitely affect the 2015 elections.
Can we discuss this without vitriol or gloating?
From Aljazerra Republicans take Senate in stunning rebuke of Obama and Democrats @ Republicans take Senate in stunning rebuke of Obama and Democrats Al Jazeera America they even seemed to be okay with it. And they also reported, “future looks dim for unions.”
