It was a disaster alright.

We went in to get Osama bin Laden and those who helped perpetrate the attack on 9/11. We achieved that goal in 2011. Why were we still there for another 10 years?

We have spent $45 billion a year for 20 years in Afghanistan. We have been at war in Afghanistan longer than we have been at war anywhere else.

How many more years do we send young Americans to die, and spend American dollars that we need at home, to a place that has been almost perpetually at war?

Maybe investigate which Americans made money off of 2 decades of war? And who pushed to stay when we had accomplished our mission 10 years ago?
