true,,,,i would say they all had distinctive styles....~S~Imagine having to continually live up to the pressure of being the 'greatest' of something, particularly in a field of so many diverse guitarists like he is , at a relatively young age.
Say one of the greatest , but c'mon. ...Guthrie Govan, Eric Johnson, Joe Satriani, Andy James, Marco Sfogli, Al DiMeola, whoever you want to name.....not to mention Page, Clapton, Beck ,Hendrix, Blackmore, Eddie and Randy .......
Matteo may have the most efficient picking techniques.....very much like Billy Sheehan plays bass with his fingertips - a lot of 3 note per string arpeggio patterns mixed with legatos - but using his nails.true,,,,i would say they all had distinctive styles....~S~
