Matt Gaetz withdraws himself from AG nomination

I just heard it on FNC...Gaetz stepped down from being AG.
I'm shocked.

Part of me is disappointed he gave in because he would have been great and I know that democrats NEVER give in.

I can only hope now this does not set a precedent and that his replacement is an even tougher stickler for the law that will make democrats wish they had not so attacked Gaetz.

They used to use TAX FRAUD to attack people that were anti-Deep state narrative. Now, it looks like they prefer to use SEXUAL INNUENDO to attack the patriot "enemies of the State".

First, Matt Gaetz, now Pete Hegseth and down the line.

I would bet that the next AG will be a limp wristed and non-aggressive moderate.

Here is another example;

The International Criminal Court’s top prosecutor who issued an arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over “war crimes” in Gaza was accused of trying to suppress a sexual misconduct investigation against himself.

Karim Khan, 54, faced accusations that he tried for more than a year to push a female aide into a sexual relationship and then groped her against her will.

You're not wrong. It seems that sexual impropriety is the weapon of choice. Notice how every time there is a scandal now days, its always sexual in nature.

This seems like a prelude to a choice Dems will find much worse.

A squeaky clean crime fighter with free reign to go after The deeply rooted corruption of the deep state.
Like this guy:

Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey

Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey was tapped by Missouri Gov. Mike Parson in 2022 to be the state’s top prosecutor after then-state Attorney General Eric Schmitt was elected to the U.S. Senate.

Bailey, an Army veteran, received his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Missouri. He then proceeded to work in the state attorney general’s office and also served as an assistant county prosecutor and a state government lawyer before joining the office of Gov. Mike Parson.

Parson tapped Bailey in 2022 to be the state’s top prosecutor after then-state Attorney General Eric Schmitt was elected to the U.S. Senate.

Since becoming attorney general, Bailey has launched dozens of lawsuits against the Biden administration and sought to defend the state on a number of conservative issues.

Or this guy:

Mark Paoletta

Former White House attorney Mark Paoletta served during Trump’s first term as counsel to then-Vice President Mike Pence and to the Office of Management and Budget.

Paoletta is currently working on the Trump transition team, including helping steer Justice Department policy in the next Trump administration, making him a potentially natural fit for the role.

He made clear previously that if tapped to head up the Justice Department, he would not tolerate any resistance to Trump’s agenda by career prosecutors and other nonpolitical officials.

Or this lovely, and well-preserved lady:

I look forward to more liberal tears . . .

So anyone who is against sending your kids to war is a Putin stooge?... don't you see how juvenile that is?...
She has seen war... she has been to war... have you?...
And if you think this is a fail you aren't paying attention... no way can the GOP senate get in the way of Trump's next pick... so he or she is already in whoever they are... brilliant strategy if you ask me....
So pull up your Walmart camo shorts grab a gun and put your war chicken ass on a plane and go fight the Russians....
If you can't see Putin as your enemy you're delusional. The Ukrainians are fighting your enemy for you at least support them.

Putin is not our biggest worry... it would have been better if we were smart enough to cozy up to Russia in order to keep them out of the arms of China... if we had worked with Putin they would never have attacked Ukraine... but our stupid leaders have been poking Russia needlessly for decades... I saw this coming 20 years ago... now it may be too late...

Correct. There is a process for getting rid of departments.

As for Gaetz, I didn't suggest locking him up. So you sound like a goddman idiot to imply anyone violated Gaetz's rights to due process.

So you think he committed crimes and had sex with a minor but you don't want to lock him up? 🤡

Since we all know that you only care about smearing his name and not the truth, your lack of integrity isn't surprising. Once again demonstrating what the true agenda is.

They don't need proof, the accusation is all they require for it to be true.

Democrats don't really care about justice, for them, it's all about damaging people in the court of public opinion.

Yes, every thread on here about this topic is proof of that.

what a load of BS. He put his pride (did not want the allegations and investigation out in the public eye) and his common sense to work (he would not have been confirmed). NOTHING else

Public eye? It's been in the public eye since 2021. 🤡

According to you it is, you stated you didn't want to put him in jail, dummy.
I said my judgment of him doesn't put him in jail. Obviously.

Saying something very dumb and calling people dummies in the same sentence is... not a great look.

Public eye? It's been in the public eye since 2021. 🤡
but not officially. This was the report of the investigation done that was coming out NOW.

Gaetz did not resign for the benefit of the party. He is one selfish person that doesn't give a shit about anyone but himself
