Dill Pickelson's round soured. Rickie Fowler kept enough balls fair to be in the hunt. Justin came out smelling like a Rose. Sergio was great but will he become Submergio tomorrow? Will Jordan Speith be Air Jordan or Aqua man? Will Ryan be More or Less? Tune in tomorrow golf fans.....

Too bad Spieth fell apart and Fowler's over par today.

Sergio Garcia is not the most likeable person or golfer but he finally won his first major so congratulations to him.

I watched it all. No complaints. The Americans tanked early (Speith first, Rickie later). Who the heck spells a mans' name Rickie anyways? Do I have that right?

I thought Sergio got "rabbit ears" on #7 tee box and started falling apart. But the old dog pulled back out of the dumpster fire to hang on. Missed his putt at #16, I thought dead again. But he hits some of the best iron shots in the game. He survived.

Only negative? How does it take over 5 hours to play 18 holes in a twosome with Caddies.............Oh well. Not like I had anything better to do. Beautiful course.

edit: How about Sergios' great drives up #18? That shot looks really tight chute to me.

Watching golf is like watching paint dry.

I find I watch the sports I have tried to play or currently struggle with. Hoping to find something to help me in the next round. I still watch some BBall, Soccer and Baseball. Baseball seems so slow............after watching NCAA BBall (very fast).

BTW........I looked into that LPGA penalty situation. Question? Who places or marks a ball from the side? Maybe IF you would be standing on somebodies line?

I (and anyone I have ever seen) approach the ball from behind (in line with the cup) and mark it right behind the ball. Not from the side (not ever?). Maybe tap in 2' or less if it is easy to keep play moving, using a weird stance. But almost never mark a short putt and NEVER from standing on the side. WHAT HAPPENED? I did not watch the event. It appears she marked and put the ball back from the side? Am I wrong?

Lexi was just going to just putt in the short putt but at the last second she stopped, bent over and marked from her putting stance on the side. Then replacing the ball she put it in front of the coin. It was a brainfart but should not have cost her 4 strokes.

I didn't see it because at the Plus Nudie Bar for women over 40, they show the Masters
lol
