I busted a couple of Marxist scientists.

As you know I'm doing brain research, and I come across a paper from Mexico City, and it's talking about brain volume in areas that are densely connected.

Most people, would try to be scientific about it and use objective terms. You know, wiring density, density of synapses per cubic mm, that kind of thing.

Not these guys. You know what they call densely interconnected brain areas?

"The rich club".

I kid you not! Here's the paper.

Who but a Marxist would think of something like that?

Is that where your head goes when you're looking at a bunch of nerve cells? Oh look, these ones are rich?

How are these people going to communicate with real scientists? "The rich club", WTF is that? :p

It's not Marxist.

If it was Marxist the paper would be about how the rich neurons are exploiting and oppressing the poor neurons. That's not what it's doing.

The term comes from IT lingo, not Marxist theory.

I've been around IT for fifty years, never heard that term. Been around science since I was born, never heard neurons referred to as a "club".

A rich "club"? Really?
