I don't know who thought that this was a good idea. All I know is that they couldn't have been all that bright.

Years ago, 80s/90s, I worked swing shift. One of my coworkers decorated his home for the Christmas holiday season. He came home one night and found his lights GONE. Not to fall victim to the Grinch, he purchased more and spent the next day decorating only to find he was victimized THE NEXT NIGHT. He redecorated a third time and lost everything again. He never decorated again--but he was still one of the most generous people that I ever worked with.Ain't that what Haloween is all about?

I'm just wondering:
- What do they plan to do with the thing? Put it in their yard a few doors down and hope no one notices?
- Sell it on eBay and hope no one fingers it as the missing 13 foot statue?
- Make a dog house out of it for the family pet.
- The video never says whether police recovered it and charged the perps.
Yup, it was the first thing that came to my mind as well, but being CA and his swing shift job, the cards were pretty much stacked against him. We all figured that it was some punk neighborhood kids, but circumstances being what they were--they got away with it. One would hope they corrected their ways.By the third night, I would have been sitting out in a drift of snow with a shotgun loaded with rock salt.
