Major Buy?

Though LXRX has not been doing anything of late, I still have confidence that it will.

Nonetheless, this is not the reason for my post today.

Today, one of those stocks that I have purchased this year, went up 300%. It is a stock much like LXRX (very cheap and a pink sheet stock) but today, it was a BIG winner for me. Once again, a 300% rise in price in one day!!!!!

Here is the comment I gave to my subscribers today on this stock. I will be purchasing more shares of it this week. I am averaged long already and losing money on it (I am presently averaged long at 1.54 and the stock closed on Friday at .97, meaning that is am down on my present investment 38%.
And it's down to .80 today.

Sounds like you hung your ass out on a losing bet, and you are trying to get other people to buy and bail you out...

Yes, I am losing about 50% on that investment but today I made 300% on another stock, meaning that the 50% loss has not affected the portfolio. It has gained.

This is not a trade for a day trade or short term. It is a buy and hold trade.

When you consider the risk/reward ratio, It is a major buy, considering that based on where the stock closed on Friday (at .975) and that the intraweek support is at .92, buying the stock here means you should get out if .92 breaks, meaning you are risking less than $.10 cents per share. If the rating analysts are correct in their fundamental evaluations of the stock getting to $6 within 12 months, it means you are risking $10 to make $600 for every 100 shares bought. It is a 60-1 risk/reward ratio.

Here is a link everyone should go to about the company

By the way, I hope that YOU do not buy it as you have been one of my political critics here and I truly do not want you to benefit from my knowledge. You are a total POS
Are you not treading close to an SEC violation?

How? All I do is tell other people what I am going to do (and why I am doing it) and then I do it. How does that even begin to violate SEC rules?

Giving "Stock Tips" online is fishing for customers.
It so happens that I truly believed that the stock was going to go up and I wanted to give people a heads up on it so they could take advantage of it.

I trade myself and live off of my trading. I do not need the subscriptions to help me economically. I am set. I charge such a low amount for the service (compared to what others charge for doing the same thing) that is does not put any money of consequence in my pocket. What I charge is basically to cover the costs of what I do and it is not a profit.

In addition, I did NOT put up an ad or a website. It was purely and act of thoughtfulness for others.

By the way and just for you info. The stock has gone down in price to the tune of $20 for every 100 shares. It is such a small loss for what the 9 stocks analysts from the big name companies that are still saying that this stock is going to go to $6-$10 dollars within a year, that a $20 loss on a stock that can still give a $600-$1000 profit (per 100 shares) is a "a tiny drop in the bucket"

Nonetheless, I can see why you think the way you do. In life, there are very few "givers" that do anything unselfishly. Nonetheless, I am one of those.

I was a loan officer at one of the biggest Banks for 20 Years. I know my business.

LXRX down to 0.68/share, says they will lay off 60% of employees and close commercial operations...

What a dog!
---------------------
Lexicon Pharmaceuticals said that it will lay off 60% of its staff and eliminate its commercial operations as part of a broader restructuring effort.

The biopharmaceutical company said Friday that the decisions are part of an effort to preserve its cash and focus its resources on advancing its clinical development pipeline.
"This prioritization of investment is designed to advance the research and development programs that have the greatest potential for value creation and patient impact," the company said.
Recently, Lexicon received a "deficiencies preclude discussion" letter from the Food and Drug Administration regarding a new drug application for its insulin therapy Zynquista, or Sotagliflozin, which precluded discussion of labeling and post-marketing requirements and commitments.
