Strange happenings at Nokomis Daycare Center in Minneapolis.
Manager Jussie Mohamed claimed that two masked men broke into the Daycare center, stole child enrollment records, employee payroll files, and torn checkbook pages and left a noose while yelling "This is MAGA country!"
At least, that's how I read it.
The reported timeline goes like this:
Timeline and Explanation of the Discrepancy

• Overnight Dec 29–30, 2025 — Alleged burglary occurs (intruder breaks through a wall sometime after 3 a.m.).
• 6 a.m., Dec 30, 2025 — A cleaner discovers the damage and vandalism, alerts management (including manager Nasrulah Mohamed).
• Morning of Dec 30 — Staff report the break-in to Minneapolis Police, who respond and investigate the scene. At this initial stage, no theft is reported to officers (per police statements to media like CBS Minnesota and Star Tribune).
• Later on Dec 30 — Staff further inspect the office/area and claim to discover that sensitive documents (child enrollment records, employee payroll files, checkbooks) are missing. They update police with this additional information.
• Dec 31, 2025 — Daycare holds a press conference publicizing the theft claims, linking it to hate/backlash from the viral video.

What a coincidence. If fraud was ongoing at this facility, what was allegedly stolen was exactly what could help prove fraud- or not. When have you ever heard of a daycare center being robbed of any of these things? BTW, the "manager" is a 20-year-old kid.
Adding to my skepticism is the fact that Nick Shirley has not visited Nokomis.

Fraud abounds in Minnesota. Trump has intimated that it could reach as much as $18 billion and that it's even worse in other (blue, of course) states.
And faster than you say “fraud”, Washington state Senator Lisa Wellman introduced legislation aimed at shielding Somali-owned Daycare facilities from scrutiny.
Which makes me ask- what is she involved in?
