In a real working government we'd see a place for training and apprenticeships to increase the skill levels in the workforce but in the mess that is MAGA we see infighting as differing ideologies emerge and the tensions become visible to us all.

I myself am an immigrant originally working here on a H1B Visa, but I also advocate for training programs and apprenticeships and feel that the tech sector should be compelled - by laws - to offer training to address any skills shortage rather than bringing thousands of Indian and Chinese workers.

India and Pakistan are such corrupt places the immigrants often don't see anything wrong with them gaming the system to get here or flourish here. Some of these "jobs" are no show jobs that only exist on paper that are sold to immigrants who can afford to buy their way around the immigration lines. I am all full proper legal immigration, but when it comes to the H1B's from those areas, I would be fine with booting them and all the alleged "students" from there out and make them start over under greater scrutiny.

These bastards like Leon Skum want only what's good for investors like themselves, what's good for profits and paying below par rates to skilled foreigners has long been the norm for firms like Tesla, Apple, Microsoft, IBM, Google and so on.

Those workers then send their money to their home country and spend it there befitting that country's economy.
