I’m not sure how many remember the original with Joe Cocker, but this show is quite good. Obviously no one can sing and conduct a band like Joe, but Derek Trucks band did an admirable job. They brought the immortal Leon Russell. I must admit when Leon began to play “Girl From the North Country,” it brought a tear to my eye. Such good memories. RIP Mr. Russell.
