Long Lost Family, a truly amazing and good show....adopted children finding their long lost mothers and fathers.

Wow........this show has always amazed me.....Long Lost Family is a show where children put up for adoption, and mothers and fathers who put children up for adoption.....are brought together by the two hosts of the show....

You can't get past how this show wrecks the argument for killing you baby in the womb, instead of simply putting the baby up for adoption.......

The show on as I am posting is Season 1 Episode 2...."Long Lost Family: What Happens Next."

For example...the argument that a woman who is raped should go and kill the baby?

In this episode, a woman was kidnapped by a violent criminal, dragged across state lines and brutally raped....she escaped, he was eventually captured and put in prison......the woman had the baby from the rape and the child was put in an orphanage...now, the child and mother and their extended families were brought together.............amazing.

They also show stories of women raped through incest who put their babies up for adoption and are brought together decades later......wonderful, hopeful stories....

Great, uplifting show, showing the value of life.....

My Wife was adopted and had the opportunity to meet Her biological parents.
She didnt want to meet them for the havoc it might cause in that family as well as what it would do to Her parents.

I knew one woman who was raped and elected to keep the child. She was a very successful CEO of a midsized financial group. It was an absolutely horrible decision that eventually drove her to insanity. The child hanged herself at 17. The mother died of acute alcoholism.
