Logan Lucky is a heist movie.
Despite having three well-known actors (Channing Tatum, Adam Driver, Daniel Craig), it's not all that great.
It became pretty obvious the director was trying to make a movie in the style of the Coen Brothers, with various quirky characters, but he failed miserably.
It isn't a total waste of time, but I would not be in any hurry to see it.
At one point, though, there is a short scene between Channinig Tatum's character and a nurse. Though I had never seen her before, I kept getting the feeling I somehow knew her. Her face looked familiar, as did her facial expressions and voice patterns. Then she did this little quick jerk of her head, and it hit me.
She is a nepo baby. But not just any nepo baby. She is District Attorney Jack McCoy's nepo baby!
The Rotten Tomatoes critic rating for Logan Lucky is 92 percent. The audience rating is 76 percent.
