Local 4th of July Celebrations

How are yours? Our city no longer puts on what they called a Blazin Fourth in order not to offend immigrants. Was fairly decent. Perused the local metro fare today, nothing but crappy cover bands and parades that started too early in the AM.

Too much bar-b-cue for me. Bar-b-cue parties started on Friday and one of my neighbors just brought us a plate of beef ribs and a bowl of potato salad. Everyone I know cooked an enormous amount of food with grilled meat being the main course.
