Russian - the GDR is history since a long time now - but some people are not able to let it be to dream from a world which never really existed. The whole "Eastern Germany" and "Western Germany" nonsense is a typical left wing political propaganda nonsense.

Is it?

I don't think so. What is even more important - the Germans don't think so, either.

In the moment more than 50% of all Germans are convinced the political party AfD should be banned because the complete organization has been proven now to be far right extremists and thus wants to suppress democracy in Germany and replace democracy with a new totalitarian Nazi regime. Incidentally, Putin did exactly the same thing in Russia. Putin has eliminated Russian democracy and replaced it with a totalitarian regime.

Bla-bla-bla. Significant part of Germans (actually, the largest part of them) belive that AfD really represents their interests and their goals in the legal political way. Ban the party that represents their interests legally, and they won't have an option but defend themselves with the weapons in their arms.

And, stupid Russian extremist, the reunion of Germany had happened without a shot. And when we will eliminate the political party AfD - the new Nazis - then this will also happen without a shot.

Eastern Germany was annexed without a shot only because both Russia and America decided that. If both Russia and America decide that Eastern Germany has right to declare independence (or that AfD should rule Germany) - it will happen. Will it happen with or without shooting, with or without carpet bombing (or even nuking) of German cities - depends mostly on you.

If you understand freedom exclusively as a lack of external limitations - I have really bad news for you. It's not freedom at all. It is the worst kind of slavery, for it changing and degrading your nature. Like, you know, a drug addict can't be a free person. He is a slave of his habits, of his addictions, of his possessions. And the way of slavery leads you downwards to selfishness and degradation into your usual swine status.
True freedom grows, first of all, inside the one's soul. First of all, it is about self-imporvment, may be it is even the self-denial. Really free man doesn't care about external limitations, about personal affairs, about love, fear, about social ties and quasi-moral labels. He do what he have to do and it will be what it should be.
