Unfortunately, Detroit is not in a position to absorb another $500 million wasted by its liberal rulers. The city has been so devastated by decades of Democrat dominance that it cannot even afford to bury its dead.

Fret not...Detroit will be sucking off a pretty fair share of those funds from the federal highway trust fund, which is funded by fuel taxes....Y'know, all that money that is taken from us at the pump, under the pretext that it will be paying for roads and bridges.
