Librarians' version of free speech is them providing tax-funded porn to children. No dissenting opinions allowed, though.
DAVIS, Calif. (TND) — Former collegiate soccer player Sophia Lorey claimed on social media Sunday that she was silenced and asked to leave a California library Sunday after she delivered an address at a female athletics event.
The event, titled “Forum On Fair and Safe Sport For Girls,” was hosted by a local Moms For Liberty chapter at the Mary L. Stephens Davis Branch Library in Davis, California.
To begin her address, which focused on the biological advantages of testosterone in sports, Lorey asked audience members to follow library rules and speak in an orderly manner during the provided question period.
“Current ten-year-old girls are not allowed to live out this dream as long as men are allowed to compete in women’s sports,” Lorey said, eliciting shouts from the audience like “you can’t do that!”
When Lorey corrected herself by saying “biological men,” she claims librarian Scott Love asked her to leave.
The event then turned into a shouting match between an attorney who defended Lorey’s free speech rights and audience members calling for Lorey’s dismissal, leading to Love ending the meeting.

Women’s sports activist Riley Gaines shared the video of the altercation via Twitter and applauded Lorey.
