Believe it or not, during WWII people still died under conditions that had nothing to do with the war. They died of disease, of accidents, of suicide and murders, none of it meant there wasn't a war going on.

There isn't a war on police. There are about 3 million cops, including State, County, City and Federal. That is in a nation of 300 million. If 3% of the population was at war with the cops, the cops would be outnumbered about 6-1. If everyone who voted Democrat was at war with the cops, it would be about 40 to 1. The cops don't carry enough ammo for the 6-1 odds, much less the 40-1.

After Katrina we saw the cops just leave after three days. They had endured enough, if there was a "war on cops" that wasn't all rhetoric then the cops would not go to work. They just wouldn't show up.

There isn't a war on cops, and an assassination is nonsense in all but one or two of the situations. Most are that they reacted to the police, an assassination means they went looking for the cops and found them. Or set them up with a phony call.

I heard of one cop death being called an "ambush". The police were notified that there was a man banging on doors holding what looked like a gun on a street. The police arrived, and the guy with the gun shot one of them. It was a cold blooded heinous ambush according to the Sheriff. Well, the cop was told man with a gun. He was told where the man with the gun was, generally speaking. That is not an ambush. It would have been an ambush if they made the call naked woman wondering the streets yelling free Pu$$y Boys. Then of course, every cop in the city would have found an excuse to show up.

I get that the deaths of cops upsets you. But it isn't a war on police. If it was, the cops would last about two weeks, maybe three. Ask the cops here would they keep going to work if a thousand cops were killed in one night? Ask them how many nights they would keep going to work? I'm betting on three, you wan't the over, or the under?

War on Cops is all Rhetoric. It is not reality. If it was, then the news would be running body counts like they did in Iraq. "Today, another fifty cops were killed in ongoing war with criminals, that brings the total up to 1852 since the war on police began. We have this report from our reporter who would be on the street but she's actually in her office."

It's a cause looking for fools to support it. Stop being one of the fools.

A second Florida police officer has died from wounds he suffered in a shooting Friday night, Kissimmee police said on its Facebook page.

Sgt. Richard "Sam" Howard died Saturday afternoon, a day after Officer Matthew Baxter died at the scene of a shooting in the central Florida city near Orlando.

KISSIMMEE, Fla. -- One police officer was killed and three wounded in nighttime shootings in two Florida cities where the officers were responding to suspected drug activity and reports of a suicide attempt, police said Saturday.

One officer was killed and another gravely injured late Friday night in Kissimmee in central Florida just south of the theme park hub of Orlando. The other two officers were injured a couple of hours later in Jacksonville, one of them shot in both hands and the other in the stomach.
