Letter in support of Judge Dugan signed by over 150 former state and federal judges.

Were they fired or removed from office for committing similar crimes?

We are former state and federal judges who join together to condemn the Trump Administration’s attacks on the judiciary, including its recent arrest of Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Hannah Dugan in her courthouse. This latest action is yet another attempt to intimidate and threaten the judiciary after a series of rulings by judges appointed by presidents of both parties holding the Trump Administration accountable for its countless violations of the Constitution and laws of the United States. On April 25, you called judges “deranged” and said that “[the Administration is] sending a very strong message” and that “we will come after you and we will prosecute you.” On April 28, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt went so far as to say that the Trump Administration will not rule out arresting members of the United States Supreme Court.

The intent to intimidate Judge Dugan and the judiciary is clear from the circumstances of Judge Dugan’s arrest which took place seven days after the alleged offense. There was no emergency whatsoever; the administration could have easily issued a summons for Judge Dugan to appear before a court, as they would have done in other white collar cases. There is not an ounce of doubt that Judge Dugan would have appeared in court in response to a summons. Instead, the United States Department of Justice at your direction decided to create an embarrassing spectacle that included the FBI’s arrest and handcuffing of Judge Dugan and the Director of the FBI, Kash Patel, posting a photo of the perp walk on X. As you know well, the Confidentiality and Media Contacts Policy that appears on the Justice Department’s website directs that DOJ personnel “should not voluntarily disclose a photograph of a defendant unless it serves a law enforcement function or unless the photograph is already part of the public record in the case.”

Gotta give Pam and Kash some slack here. They aren't even aware of what is in the Constitution let alone the "Confidentiality and Media Contacts Policy." Besides, Kash is just a little boy playing the role of FBI director cuz Don said he could. Being outsiders when it comes to the DoJ, and justice before the law, they're just trying to please the boss. Maybe sit next to him at cabinet meetings to better gaze in to the eyes of the Messiah.
All nonsense.

On the off chance that this one goes to court for trial, the government will be in the unique position of having to “prove it.”

She should cry to Roger Stone.

It's not so much the legality of what Dugan did that's at issue in the letter. It's the way the regime conducted itself by the method of arresting her. And it's partially about the threats made against members of the judiciary made solely because the orange, bloviating cuck doesn't like having to obey the Constitution.

The way Trump is treating law breakers in black robes is just awful!

Lol. When there are already pictures of her on the internet, why does this even matter?

I have no doubt that we'll be hearing about it. Why would anything change? LMAO. Whine, whine, whine! You want some cheese with that whine? Winning is great. Sorry you're butt hurt over it. NOT. LOL
:auiqs.jpg:'Winning is great.' :auiqs.jpg::auiqs.jpg:

You don't sound like it, and your 'concerned' shtick is weak. You're annoyed that even in your safest of safe spaces (USMB), America still sees how unpopular maga can be anywhere.

LOL, You're in denial---and I don't mean the river in Egypt. Review your posts, whiner. Are you getting paid by the "MAGA?"

A bunch of left wingers signed a strongly worded letter. Oh my, whatsoever shall we do?

So what? Legal issues are not decided in this country by what FORMER state and federal judges think or by what academics think either. Try again. Lighten up on the verbosity, it doesn't help to overwhelm your audience with word salad. Ask Kamala.

Actually it is.
The judges and former judges establish precedent and that is what the SCOTUS goes by.

She broke the law.

The fact she was suspended from her post means the judges overseeing her thought otherwise.

These judges can get bent.

Wrong.
Telling a lawyer there are more than one exit from a court room is not breaking any law.
The suspension is automatic since she was arrested on federal charges, regardless of whether the charges are invalid.

Attacking the judiciary ensures the end of the republic.

Spare me the babbling, doomsayer.

She actively hid an illegal immigrant from ICE agents, she actively impeded them from apprehending someone who was adjudicated to be removed as an illegal. She obstructed justice by trying to aid his escape.

Those charges are valid, and your hero will be behind bars before too long.

Judges are not immune to the consequences of breaking the law.

Remember, you leftists said this innumerable times:

NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW.

Your words. YOUR WORDS. So spare me the false righteousness.

Wrong.
It is illegal for ICE to abuse court appearances to arrest people.
Soon, nowhere will be appropriate to arrest an illegal.

They came here illegally, and they need to be punished. If ICE has the chance to apprehend them, they are well within their rights to capture them anytime and anywhere they please, provided they have a warrant and a removal order.

For all the crying you people do about due process, you work hard enough to make sure they don't experience it for the crime they committed.

You particularly are a massive idiot.

I fight for Abrego Garcia's right to due process because we are a country of laws. I don't fight for him to stay, I fight for him to be punished properly and sent back to whatever shithole he came from.

But you fight to deny any illegal due process by hiding them from the law. WE ARE NOT THE SAME. NOT.

Do us all a favor and get f**ked.

There are limits to compassion and empathy, and the moment you try to shield someone from the consequences of their actions, you deny compassion and empathy for those they affected by their behavior.

Get that through your thick heads, leftists.

Geez, some of you are twice my age and act like complete and utter children.
