Indicted on charges of bank fraud after spending the last two years prosecuting President Trump, James reportedly scrambled to perform some type of gesture that would thaw the ice between the two political enemies, eventually deciding that a greeting card was the perfect choice.
"Dear Donald, my bad for trying to falsely imprison you," James wrote in the card. "We may be on different sides of the political aisle, but that doesn't mean we can't be friendly. I know I said a lot of mean things and tried to destroy you, your family, and your legacy, but please accept this card as a token of my remorse. Please do not put me in jail. Thanks. Though the card was described as blatant groveling by critics, insiders said that James put a lot of thought into the gesture. "She really wants to make amends," one source said.
