There are leftists and there are Democrats. The leftists commit acts of violence while the "good Democrats" sit on their thumbs and refuse to condemn that segment of their own party.

Similarly, there were at one time "Nazis" and "Good Germans." The good Germans also sat on their thumbs and refused to condemn those among them who committed violence. This lead to a situation where the world didn't give a **** whether you were a Nazi or a good German, which is pretty much where we're heading to now.

In reality, right-wing political violence in the U.S. is RARE. Conversely, left-wing political violence is extremely common and normal, especially in jurisdictions controlled by Democrats. Jurisdictions like Florida don't tolerate leftist violence, unlike Newsome in California.
