Jackson Reffitt, the teen who reported his Trump-supporting father to authorities following the January 6 protests, is now complaining he feels “unsafe” after President Donald Trump’s pardons.
Jackson testified against his own father, Guy Reffitt, accusing him of making threats and requesting a maximum sentence.
He also accused the January 6 defendant of slowly losing himself over the years and falling “into a horrible community to find a place in this life.”
Guy was accused of being a member of The Three Percenters and “lighting the match,” which they say triggered the protests.
Despite Guy not setting foot on the Capitol, prosecutors accused him of turning the crowd “into an unstoppable force” and sought a 15-year sentence.
The Populist Times reports:
The J6 defendant was eventually found guilty of two counts of civil disorder and a single count of obstructing official proceedings. He was sentenced to 87 months in prison, a $2,000 fine, and 3 years of supervised release.
His son, who ratted him out, recently told CNN that he was flabbergasted after the latest development.
“I’m honestly flabbergasted that we’ve gotten to this point,” Jackson told CNN.

Ironically, he bought a firearm that his Democratic friends wish to ban, especially for young people like him, leaving them exposed to criminals with guns who do not follow gun control laws.

Seemingly, he is still benefiting from the incident and has received nearly $200,000 in donations for his college fund. People were still donating even after Trump pardoned January 6 hostages like his father. It is unlikely that his donors disapprove of his actions but see him as a hero.

Commentary:
Guess Jackson Reffit will have to learn to live with fear like most other folks do. Ratting on your father or family member is reminiscent of Communist Russia and Nazi Germany. It's indicative of a thoroughly brainwashed of "Young Pioneer Commies, aka Komsomol, or the Nazi Hitler Youth.
I'm sure he'll feel safer in China..
If his mother and sisters are waiting for his dad outside the jail, I’d say it was not the dad that tore the family apart. This young man needs to get some help for his mental illness.
The level of projection, paranoia and cognitive dissonance Jackson Refitt displays suggests he might be safer institutionalized.
