They can release an immigrant, that is if the crime is light, and the jail is overcrowded or financial problems. Light-offenders can be release. But they can't release anyone into the public if they are a threat to society. Because if that immigrant harms anyone. The victims can sue the dept.and which that is what they want. But the sheriff dept, cannot deport them until they has been sentenced and served their time. In every countries follows that rule. That is why they didn't place bond for ASAP Rocky. They thought that he was a flight risk. And so Illegals that commits crimes, are stuck here until time is serve. But then after they served their time. They can be deported. Unless the crime that they committed was dropped. Then they can be deported.

Many americans need "civilizing", yes, the people are in the way of "progress". What has this power structure done before with groups of human beings it found in the way of "progress"? As I recall, Obama created the cages for the separating of children from people claiming to be their parents and Trump merely kept up that policy until the "Trump Derangement Syndrome" left kept screaming to stop it. Congress made the laws, it's Congress' job to change any laws, but all they can do is scream about Trump, not get with him and work to change the laws.
As for Concentration Camps....take a trip to the former Nazi Concentration Camps for the Jews, Roma and handicapped, located in various places in Europe to see what an actual Concentration Camp was like. The closest the US came to an actual Concentration Camp was the Japanese Interment camp in Washington, which by the way, was created by your favorite Democratic president, FDR, of course, the Democrats were also responsible for Slavery, the KKK, Segregation and Jim Crow Laws.
As for separating kids from the adults with them at the border, they only do so as long as is necessary to confirm the adults with the minors are indeed their parents and that the parents aren't fleeing criminal prosecution in their own country.
Coming into the US without going through proper channels IS A CRIME, per federal law. If you want the law changed, force Congress to work with Trump to make compromises and then pass the compromised bill.
