LeBron passes 50k points tonight. He's averaging about 1800 points a season. If he plays 2 more he will be 10000 points ahead of the next player on the all time points list.... That's nuts.

The guy certainly has great longevity. It's impressive that his FG% has stayed over 50%.

It's more than longevity. He's a top 10 player in the league in year 22, and has been for essentially all 22 years. Kareem had longevity but wasnt nearly as good his last 3 years and you could argue the last 10 his production had significantly dropped off.
