I remember how Madonna was the lady that all the men were crazy about back in the 80's and sadly she was the one that got all the fame and fanfare that Laura Branigan deserved and was deprived of. Branigan unlike Madonna could carry a tune,Madonna while she sounded good on the radio, Laura Branigan she sounded good in CONCERT. she really WAS the most underrated Music artist ever, she should have got far more media attention than she did.

If there was ever a musican that deserved the popularity and fame that Elvis Presley did who was totally undeserving of it and was and has been given far too much attention over his death,Branigan SHOULD have had that attention. sadly she has been so forgotten and an afterthought in the music Industry most people dont even know she died.I Myself was unaware of that until a few years ago and neither was the st louis blues organization. They wanted to invite her to sing Gloria for some reason unaware she had died same as me. so sad the way the media ignored her, she deserved far better.

I tip my hat off to Johnny Carson,he didnt have her on just once,he had her on MULTIPLE times.:yes_text12:here are a couple of her guest appearances.Carson and Mcmahon they hit the nail on the head. they said that when she talks, you just want to do anything for her, cause she had a vulnerablity about her that was so sweet. Carson nailed it as well when he says-YOU REALLY PUT YOUR EMOTIONS INTO YOUR SINGS AND GO ALL OUT DONT YOU? Kudos to carson for having her on a his show multiple times.

watch the three videos below and then the fourth below as well which is a LIVE performance, you can see in her guest appearances on carson and the live performance, she even CRYS while singing, what an amazing incredible one in a million talent that sadly was underappreciated by the media.:(

Laura Branigan, always liked the quality of her voice. Never was a fan of Madonna just one song of hers I liked.

Thanks for posting.

I liked her.

But she was far from under rated.
She never received any of the media attention Madonna did who wasn’t anywhere near the talent Brannigan was so she was very much underrated sadly.

She should have received the same media attention taylor swift gets.another no talent overrated hack.

My opinion of Johnny Carson has skyrocket after learning he had her on his show multiple times.

If you watch the videos there with her talking to Johnny Carson he asks her why she is nervous, thst was the lovable quality about her was incredibly, she somehow had no problem getting in front of millions and singing but she was nervous around Carson and McMahon cause she was so shy when it was one on ones with people.

She just made you want to hug her the way she spoke she had such a shy quality about her very soft spoken,a vulnerability as Carson put it so well.

Carson said it so well when he said - you really work when your out there don’t you?

The Duke did you listen to her sing in those 3 videos when she was on with johnny carson and listen to her interview with him? carson totally nailed it when he said to her-you really put everything including your heart into those songs dont you? and then mcmahon says-just listening to you talk i want to do anything for you then carson replys saying-yeah its like there is a vulnerability there a sadness isnt there?

its amazing how she could get in front of millions and sing but she was shy when it came to doing one on one interviews.she had such a voice that was vulernable as carson put it,you wanted to give her a hug.

Laura was so shy and soft spoken as seen in her interviews with carson you just wanted to hug her.
