Those calling themselves "conservatives" try very hard to eliminate voices espousing moderate or "liberal" views from public discourse. Unless I am mistaken, in 1988 the Supreme Court backed Flynt in the case with a Baptist pastor. The judge ruled that no one can curb the right given by the First amendment.
