I have posted about this previously because several people/organizations noted the numbers were phony.

Now, we have the Labor Department confirming that they were correct.

The Biden administration claimed to have added almost 400,000 jobs from July through September of last year, but new data released this week suggest none of those jobs ever existed. Despite constantly gaslighting by the mainstream media, Americans knew the economy was in poor shape and these latest numbers prove it.

Month after month, the government bean-counters under former-president Biden published overly optimistic estimates for everything from job growth to the size of the economy, only to have those numbers routinely—and quietly—revised down later.

Every month, the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) produces estimates for the number of nonfarm payrolls in the country, as well as revisions for the last two months’ estimates. Under Biden, these revisions were abnormal in magnitude and direction, being revised down with unusual frequency.

While these monthly job reports are compiled from a survey of over 600,000 businesses, of which fewer than 200,000 are surveyed each month. But the BLS also publishes much more comprehensive quarterly data called Business Employment Dynamics (BED) that come from a census of over 12 million businesses—that’s over 17 times the sample size of the monthly job reports’ survey.

This more accurate dataset was just released by the BLS for the third quarter of last year, which ran from the start of July through the end of September. In stark contrast to the monthly job reports showing an increase of 399,000 jobs during the third quarter, these new numbers show a decline of 1,000 private-sector jobs.

To be clear, the monthly job reports and the BED data do not measure exactly the same thing, and the BLS also publishes another dataset called the quarterly census of employment and wages. Each of these reports excludes certain categories of jobs or industries like railroads, government, self-employment, agriculture, etc.

...

And the downward revisions to Biden-era jobs data are set to continue. From March through June of last year, the economy supposedly added 398,000 nonfarm payrolls, according to the monthly job reports, yet the BED data show a net loss of 163,000 private-sector jobs for that period.

Instead of adding almost 800,000 jobs during the middle of last year, the economy likely shed more than 160,000 of them. The next annual benchmark will probably be a (retroactive) reduction of jobs under Biden that exceeds this year’s large downward revision.

Lying, lying about official numbers etc, is par for the course for demafascist and tyrannical regimes.

Anyone with two brain cells to rub together to make a spark knew that the numbers were bogus.

Hell, a full 1/3 of the legit jobs were .gov related jobs.....Most by NGOs who were laundering our tax dollars back to the DNC.

I don't think we can accurately measure any differences between the reports because it says in your article, the reports DO NOT MEASURE the same things....

The big eared Kenyan created the “jobs saved” to make his numbers look better. Jobs saved is pretty much whatever they made up.

I am not the least bit surprised and this only underscores what others have at least hinted at. We just weren't seeing all those jobs materializing out here in the real world

And even the Biden Administration admitted that most of the jobs created were part time, temporary, seasonal, often low paying jobs.

It's just like the Democrats and their propaganda machine we know as the MSM/legacy media soft peddled or ignored that more than 90% of ALL jobs created under eight years of Obama were part time or temporary contract jobs with few, if any, benefits meaning many Americans were working two or three part time jobs just to make ends meet. That of course was mostly the result of the onerous ang oppressive work provisions of Obamacare that forced workers to shed employees or make more or all of them part time to avoid those provisions.

Democrats really REALLY don't like to advertise such ugly facts as an Administration that fabricates numbers to make itself look good or those that ignore the harm they do and pretend they are doing good.

When Trump 45 removed most of worst of those requirements/policies plus meaningful tax reform, most in ALL demographics who wanted a good paying fulltime job with benefits were able to find one. Which is why the economy was so good for most of those four years.

Hopefully he'll be able to pull off close to a similar miracle this term.

Just like the fraud Insurrection charges was a lie, the Progs feed us happy go lucky numbers the same way dictatorships do. We are in a minimum of a soft tyranny that is getting stronger and stronger. Republicans are slowly starting to act like Progs now. You will not like it. This is the time to take a few steps back. Do it Progs. Deal with the Republicans so both will not do this. If you continue and the Republicans elected do not do the same thing, then we must elect hardliners to replace our Republican politicians.

Shhh, don't tell Marener. I think he still believes the lies he was told during the Biden Administration.

This is confirmation bias. You're looking for something to fit your narrative.

BLS revises numbers all the time. It's not fake. It's not lying. It's just revisions.

Why do you have to make a conspiracy out of it?

How many times did they have to revise the job numbers up? They tricked you. People don't react to the revisions, just the initial release. They knew exactly what they were doing. It hoodwinked a lot of people.

Did they know exactly what they were doing when they revised jobs numbers down under Trump?

In 2023, they revised 2022 data UP by half a million.

In 2020, they revised 2019 data DOWN by half a million.

Of course, you could have looked this up, but you had a narrative that you didn't want to ever disprove, so that was out of the question. Because you're just such an independent thinker.

They were revised down far more often. Regardless, what is up with last quarter? No job growth under Biden? I thought the economy was doing so well?

No job growth under Biden? That's dumb. Where do you get shit like this?

They're revised down under Biden and that's a big conspiracy. The government is misleading the people to benefit Democrats. They're revised down under Trump, but that's not a conspiracy. We don't talk about it. Pretend it didn't happen.

Do you guys ever use common sense or do you just jump straight to a conspiracy to support your dumb narratives?

The quarter right before the election. What a coincidence.

And the Dems STILL lost! LOL

Last quarter, after revisions, no job growth under Biden. You didn't know?

Seems every jobs report in 2024 publicized pie-in-the-sky numbers only to be revised down after they were out of the msm news cycle. The lower revisions were never publicized to the extent as the first released numbers though.
