The realities are the governor of any state is curtailed by the realities of their state.

To better explain. Just making numbers up.......Florida has a 70% approval of legal abortions up to X weeks. DeSantis can work to make it a complete ban but then he loses the next election and abortion laws are then liberalized by a (D) governor.
