Some people have it in their DNA to target the vulnerable and they will argue that one creepy activity doesn't offset a serious crime.
We lose our principles and our soapbox when we believe that if we lower our own humanity and morals in the face of criminals it is ok because "I'm really not at all like them". This DNA can spread among a population and impact other avenues within a system until in fact, you are precisely like them...
