Im not saying this is world class hypocrisy. Im not saying that at all.
But how can a maga business cheer on ice raids until they get raided themselves ?

Surely they should only be employing people who are entitled to work ?

Reminds me of the cartoon of the redneck in Texas with a shotgun, who holds a border crosser at gunpoint until the immigrant offers to fix his fence, then the redneck puts down the shotgun and they start discussing how much it will cost.

Most of these people are stealing social security numbers, and claiming they're legal.

What I see is that they, not Kid Rock, were the guilty parties here. :iagree:

So. they let them work all day Saturday and only asked them to leave at 9:30pm?

Yea, cause everyone knows ICE raids happen after 9 on Saturday.

Why does it say it’s Kid Rock’s restaurant when the story highlights that it’s owned by some guy named Steve?

Why do you all lie?

Looks like another Guardian anti-Trump yellow journalism smear based on anonymous sources and a whole lot of innuendo.

the Guardian. That's why.

Besides, who's going to pay attention to some story about a guy named Steve and the illegals in his restaurant?

I hope Kid Rock sues the rag.

Yes, they should be employing only people who are legally qualified to work here.

Often though, someone applies for the job with fake documents and it's hard to catch them in a lie if the employer can't verify the authenticity of what the prospective employee presents to them. Depending on how many employees a TN. business employs, they would need to use E-Verify only if they had 35 or more fulltime employees. Maybe these restaurants had fewer than 35 employees. Without knowing for sure, I wouldn't be calling Chris Rock and Steven Smith hypocrites yet.

If there werent any jobs there would be no immigrants.
