And in fact, in 2014, the US bribed a military coup in the Ukraine, that kicked out, murdered, arrested, or exiles all the democratically elected leaders of the Ukraine, and illegally set up a puppet dictatorship.
The puppet dictatorship in the Ukraine then violated its treaties with Russia, tried to prevent Russian use of Sevastopol, murdered over 30k ethnic Russian natives to the Ukraine, tried to put NATO nukes on Russia's border, etc.

Russia is the good guy in this conflict, with the US creating the puppet dictatorship that committed countless criminal acts, like stealing billions worth of Russian oil from pipelines.
