KC

Wow, KC is about to be eliminated from the playoffs.

Kind of made My night to watch the Texans defeat them.
They aren't exactly eliminated, but after 5 straight Super Bowls, this was bound to happen. So enjoy this year, because they will be going back

I lived in the KC area for quite a while.

I saw two or three games at Arrowhead and I enjoyed them. But I wasn't that kind of fan.

I always wanted them to do well.

This is where it will get interesting with Andy Ried.

LIke many coaches, he may have peaked. It's hard to keep success going in the NFL when the deck is stacked against you.

If Reid has peaked (and Mahomes just turned 30), it will be interesting. I hope it's not like watching the Cowboys slowly slide down the hill under the last years of Landry.

The window is only open for so long. Salary cap destroys dinasties. Time for a youth movement in KC. Goes to show it is an eleven man game and a QB can not do it all.

Yes. And they really need to pick up some of those good upcoming defensive free agent pass rushers (they blew it when they missed Micah Parsons) as well as picking up a real running back such as that guy from the Jets.

I am a Browns fan so have not looked into what KC needs. More than enough problems of our own. It looks as though for the first time in a long time we are going to have ice to fish on all winter. I sold most my gear. I have a bunch of friends digging theirs out. Starting to offer guided trips and getting interest I could definitely use some income this time of year. Maybe able to guide some trips. If these opportunities do arise I will lose track of football. It would be a good problem to have

Mahomes can only win with a super team, and their days of being a super team is over. Kelce and Chris jones had a good run, but it’s over.

hey at least you guys dont have the ******* raiders as a team....
No.
But some of us have the Browns. 😡

KC has had a great run. Andy Reid is a great coach, Mahones is a Hall of Famer, Kelce is too and they've been a fantastic team, a mini-dynasty for the last 6 years or so. But the rest of the conference and league has caught up with them.
I can't say I'll miss them if they don't make the playoffs. My wife loves the Chiefs and she'll be crushed but I want to see somebody else emerge as the AFC representative in the Super Bowl.

So, who has whom in the AFC to win it all this year?

Travis Kelce looked like a young helen keller out there

Got a lot of oils and juices on his hands evidently? Where was Ms. SWIFT? He's slow, old, & puzzeeewhipped.

I had two bets on the game, almost hoping. Desperate to find a winner. KC at home seemed sort of safe.

I took KC over 12.5 pts in a parlay with KC +7.5 or KC +3.5. Plus some HOU stuff. Tell me before the game you thought that would lose? Those bets seemed coservative, safe Lost them both. I bet small as I felt un-easy.

HOU played pretty good. KC was bad almost the whole game. Drops by Rice, KC all game? KC is finished,? We're finished going into last night? League is all over the map this year.

Things are really goofy this year. I wouldn't be shocked if the Patriots end up back on top. They've made two great moves: head coach and QB.
I'd love to see the Bills but I just have a feeling they're not quite there.
In the NFC, it's a crapshoot but every time I think a team like Tampa Bay is going to make a move, they look like crap.
If I were a betting man - and I'm not - I'd put my money on the Rams to win the whole enchilada.

Yeah, I'm a Niners fan, but they don't have it this year. Seattle isn't looking too bad, but honestly, I, too, have the Rams to make it to the Super Bowl. The Lions are an outside chance, but their O-line is not as good as it was the past couple of seasons. As for winning it? Who knows.

I know in the AFC, the Bills are just going to continue their streak of making the dance, and then getting embarrassed.

I thought maybe the Raven, but they're not too consistent with it, consistency-wise. That leaves the Pats or the Bolts.

Like you, I'm thinking the Pats make another run at it.

Speaking of Ravens, that TD "catch" disallowed AFTER review? Wow. The guy ran two steps with the ball. They really want PITT to get in? Ot they want chaos? Looked like a easy TD in slow motion, less so in real time.

But remember all the times a player reaches the ball over the goal line for 1ms as its slapped 5 yard backwards yet they call TD. Simply Amazing.

Niners are 9-4 and improving. Never say never yet. I think they best the Rams once at LA? They came out blazing, two TD drives before LA knew the game had started.

Yeah, but they are so inconsistent, I'd take the rantings of a PMS'ing prepubescent teen over their ability to sustain a season-ending run at the playoffs.

Well, maybe not that bad.

But with their injuries, they'll just be a placeholder in the first round and then will go home.

Is GB DET CHI better? Maybe SEA LA are better or slightlly equal? PHI is all over map. Who else is better in NFC?
