This is leadership and courage. Broken hand and constant pressure. Sacked 7 times. He figured out a way to win the game.

Justin Herbert is quiet and unassuming. The opposite of some NFL players. Yet he plays like a combination of Joe Montana and John Elway.

That's why his teammates love him and would go to war for him.

All Justin was thinking about after the game was to go and thank his teammates for getting the win.

Some team needs to stand up and act like a champion. Is this finally the Chargers' year?

No.....they're still a few players from being champions.
They need a Center and some playmakers on their defense.

They have cast-offs playing safety who are undersized.
They need more size in their D backfield.
Bigger and faster LBs.
Their Offense only needs solid blockers to keep Herbert from getting creamed on 3rd down.

I couldn't believe what I was seeing! Dude has a broken hand and rushed for 66 yards and he was NOT sliding! I have new respect for Herbert.

Jalen Hurts is playing like shit.
So is Jayden Daniels and Lamar Jackson.

Games like this are exposing the flaws in running QBs.

When they make a living managing games by doing safe throws and running out of the pocket (when it comes to accuracy and not completing low-percentage throws) it becomes difficult to overcome in tight games.

Yeah, but he's still no Dan Fouts.

That was a man who never left the field unbloodied, often with 300 to 400 yards passing, in a losing effort.

Still, Herbert showed he's not some wussy.

I said early in the year, once he (Hebert) started to be willing to take off and run (and Harbaugh allows it) they are severe trouble for all to play. With their defense they can beat anyone, any game.

Last coach did not allow it? Or was just crazy?

But its the NFL. You can lose any game also. SD o-line was injured starting in spring top guy out.

What a game huh? I don't care about stats to me it's who comes out on top. What a play to end the game. An interception. Who wasn't rooting for the Chargers? **** Philly. They are going to tear Jalen Hurts a new asshole on Philly talk radio today. LOL. They are so spoiled. They win 2 Superbowls in the last 10 years and they want to kill their players? Man do they have high expectations. It's fun to watch the underdogs win.

139 passing yards, 1 TD, 1 INT, and a 46.2% completion rate (12/26), while also rushing for a season-high 66 yards on 10 carries, overcoming significant pressure and playing through a recently fractured hand.

The Chiefs have lost to Dallas and the Texans the last two games. Guess who they play on Sunday? I'll be rooting for Sherbert and my boy from MI Jim Harbaugh.

The Lions need to make the playoffs. I don't think that's going to happen this year. No Philly, Detroit or Chiefs. Dallas out too? Weird year.

I went to a few Chargers games when Fouts was playing.

Fouts was perfect for Don Coryell's offense.
All he had to do was throw to an area on the field and his players would have to be there when the ball arrived.
Defenses had trouble keeping up with the on-field adjustments Fouts made and the WRs and TEs made on the fly.
When Fouts took the snap he wouldn't turn around like everyone else....he would back-peddle so he could see the movement of his receivers in relation to the defense. I met Dan Fouts once.....he's 6'5" and looks even taller in person. So he could see over the OL and scan the field.
Fouts had a much better OL to play behind.
The only weakness was they sucked in the run game....which made it difficult to win during cold or inclement weather.
SD's offense didn't really get going till they got Chuck Muncie and Kellen Winslow, which opened up the offense and made it next too impossible to stop. Problem with it is they scored so fast that their Defense barely got a breather before they were back on the field.

Yeah....it's kind of hard to throw the ball when you're getting crushed every time you plant your feet to throw.

Memories! I was just thinking about those days & before like when Seattle Seahawks were franchised back in the 70's! They were very entertaining, but had to have the ball last to score due to their defense unable to stop anybody! Loved them though w/ Zorn as QB, Largent receiving, & Smith, Williams, & Warner carrying the ball! Seems like yesterday! :stir: :oops::p

The Eagles offense was brutal. There are questions on A.J. brown's effort also on making the tough catches also considering he is making 33 million dollars a year. Here is the worst part. The offense may have played one of the worst games in Eagles history or at least recent years and still they only lost by three points. There are other teams who have not won much over the years and decades, so I understand their views.

Injuries have gotten to the Eagles like many other teams.

But the Eagles and the Texans have the best D-lines in the league.
You're always in every game when your defense is so dominant.
I think the Eagles are just a decent QB away from winning it all again.

Eagles are 8-0 when Hurts passes less than 32 times, when he goes over they are 0-5. I think they are changing the the playcalling to keep the malcontent AJ Brown happy and it is hurting the team and it is causing issues for Hurts, who has to be a defending champion QB and deal with all his drama.

The coach and OC share the blame for not using Barkley like they should be.

I don't know who is worse, Philly fans or New York fans. And I use the term "fans" loosely.

They're the amtithesis of the abbrev., "fan;" short for fanatic! It's amazing how bad NY teams can be w/ all their money! Steinbrenner proved $$ wasn't enuf when the Yankees were lost in the 80's & early 90's w/ Boston & Balt. kicking their butts! IIRC, Don Mattingly was their diamond player, but never "got there!" I was hoping for the same w/ A-Rod, but he finally got his World Series in '08! The '04 comeback of The RED Sox broke the faces of all NY fans after being up 3-0! What can be said of the Philly fan that hasn't been documented? They're never happy; good or bad teams! What is it they say about them, "they boo Santa Claus?" :p :confused::omg:

I’ve been high on Herbert since his rookie year. Dude is a stud.
