Another brilliant move by the lefties in California.

Now I ask you - how are they going to enforce this?

What defines "recreational"?

If I catch 6 fish and eat 5 of them and throw one away, am I engaging in recreation?

Lefties never think ahead. Just like the plastic bags. First they made them mandatory, now they banned them. The leftie brain is like the 8th wonder of the world. I "wonder" how it can be so chaotic.

“Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime”

LOL....So much for "teach a man to fish" in CA. ;)

It's fake guys.....When something is so absurd but since it's CA related you have to check to make sure.

Not the Onion... :dunno:

Sorry, I've been in a blue funk ever since my friend passed away. Haven't been myself lately, or I mighta noticed.
My condolences. Don't worry - I live here and I wouldn't put anything past the Nutz in California

Have you no feelings for the poor little fishes? Do you think those hooks in the lip feel good?! Once again, California is putting anything--- now fish--- ahead of people. Never mind the impact of businesses which largely supply fishing supplies or to the people with a lot invested in fishing and boating gear.

Thing is, the ruling bans fishing for sport, but it says nothing about fishing for food. If I'm out in the wild or there is a power outage or something, and it is a choice between starving and catching a few fish, I'll be catching the fish.

I see a lot of lawsuits out of this as well as many people upchucking CA to move elsewhere.
